Xen-Tan Transform Luxe Light/Medium Daily Self Tan...saved my white bum for a recent wedding!
Two weeks ago a dear friend of mine was married and I had the honor of being a bridesmaid. With being a busy working Mommy....it often times seems impossible to do much beautifying on most days and I found myself a few days before her wedding being oh so very white. Thank goodness I work for an online beauty store! I rushed over and started searching through the Xen-Tan products to try and solve my dilemma. I ended up grabbing the Xen-Tan Transform Luxe Light/Medium Daily Self Tan.
Xen-Tan is a daily sunless tanner that you use until you achieve your desired color and then as needed. I took a shower on Thursday and applied the lotion immediately afterward making certain it was blended into my skin and absorbed. The color isn't immediate, but I did still wash my hands as instructed. It is a time release lotion which I had never used before...so, initially, I was hesitant thinking that it wasn't going to work. Much to my surprise within a few hours I saw a measurable difference. With the wedding being on Saturday, I decided to repeat the same steps on Friday. The results? Fabulous! Two of my best friends were so impressed with my color that they have since bought the product.
I only have two suggestions. First, you may want to have a friend or hubby apply the lotion to your back. One of the other bridesmaids did notice early on Saturday that there was a streak on my back where I had missed applying the lotion. Since I had brought it with me, I had her place lotion just in the streaked area and by that evening, the streak was gone. Second suggestion is that if you don't care for the sunless lotion smell...then you might opt to put it on a few hours before bedtime (making certain you do not have light color sheets). The only reason I suggest this is I had my first MOPS meeting on Friday and about half way through I started noticing the aroma...hence the time release I suppose...but I didn't smell the vanilla that it advertises just the typical sunless lotion smell, although not quite as powerful.
I didn't have to reapply the lotion for an entire week and maintained my color. This is why I have seriously fallen in love with Xen-Tan Transform Luxe Daily Self Tan. I reapplied the lotion about a week ago and I still have great color..so the $30 bottle, should last me forever and the extra color makes me feel less insecure about some of my problem areas from having a little one. I never thought I would be one of those gals that tried to have color year around, but after finding this product and it being so incredibly easy...my new plan is to be TAN!
