Background

Dermalogica was created in 1986, when British skin therapist Jane Wurwand gathered a team of open-minded scientists to create a results-driven skin care line without harmful irritants. During this same time, Wurwand also started the International Dermal Institute to develop new Dermalogica products and to provide postgraduate training to skin therapists around the world.

Science

By thinking beyond cheap fillers and harsh irritants, Dermalogica pioneered new standards for product performance. Its products include proven ingredients like Salicylic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin C. All are non-comedogenic and contain no mineral oil, lanolin, S.D. alcohol, artificial colors, or fragrance.
